Meet the Potentate
Patrick D. Bobbitt
Pat was born in Fort Worth and was raised out west in the little town of Springtown, Texas. He grew up on the family farm learning how to raise cattle, break and ride horses and work hard. He attended Springtown Schools and Tarrant County College. He worked 20 years at what was General Dynamics and later Lockheed Martin, the last several as a Production Management Specialist. He resigned in 1997 to open an automotive service business in the Lake Worth area and operated it until selling in 2010.
Pat is a second generation Mason and Moslah Shriner. He was raised as a Master Mason at Lake Worth Lodge #1410 in 2000. He is also a member of the Fort Worth Valley Scottish Rite.
Pat joined the Moslah Shriners in 2000 and became a member of the Mystic Wheels unit the same year. He received the Units Prestigious Jimmy Walton Award in 2005 and served as President of the Mystic Wheels in 2007. He also served several years on the Hospital Fund Drive Gala committee and in Moslah Temple’s Arch program.
Pat and his wife Mary Lou have been married for 21 years. They both enjoy traveling and especially trips to Cozumel Mexico. Between the two of them they have four children, sons Eloy Rodriguez, Kenneth Bobbitt, Kevin Bobbitt and daughter Angela Steele. Pat and Mary Lou are also very proud of their three grandsons and two granddaughters.
